If you need your green CSCS Labourer’s card you need to do this course AND the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test (commonly known as the Touch-Screen Test). Under 18's will need to have written parental consent to sit the course, please see below.

Who should attend the course?
The Health & Safety Awareness course is aimed at operatives who work on any type of building site and in any trade.
CITB state that school leavers under the age of 18 require parental consent to sit the course. If you are booking for someone under the age of 18, please download the parental consent form from the downloads tab and send the completed form to [email protected] prior to the course start date.
What will they get out of it?
The course provides a practical summary of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues, ensuring individuals understand the potential hazards they may face on site, whilst identifying the individual’s responsibility for looking after themselves and others.
The training highlights legal rights and responsibilities under the Health & Safety at Work Act, as well as tackling other general site issues. These include considerations for both work at height and in the ground, fire, COSHH, noise, vibration, asbestos and some basic documentation requirements, including risk assessments, method statements and inductions. A natural progression from this course would be to attend the Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS).
Delegates will be provided with the GE707 – Safe Start publication from the CITB.
Assessing Learning Outcomes
Following completion of the course, there will be a multiple-choice test to evaluate delegates’ learning.

How to find us
From M25- exit at J12 (M3), follow M3 South until is splits into M27 East/ West and follow the M27 Westbound until Junction 3. Turn left at the roundabout and join the M271. At the end of the road, take the 1st exit on the roundabout to join the A33 Millbrook Road West. Move into the middle lane and continue over Redbridge Flyover. Once over, move into the inside lane. You will continue through a set of crossroads with traffic lights. After approx. 300 yards you will see a slip road for the Solent Business Centre, directly after the TA. Turn into this road, and carry along, past Sparshatts until you reach a blue building. The car park is through gates on your left at the side of the blue building.
