There are several Site Safety Plus courses available, each of which focuses on a specific area of safety.
Health and Safety Awareness

Site Safety Plus SSSTS
The Site Safety Plus SSSTS (Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme) is aimed at people who hold (or aspire to) the position of site supervisor. Supervisor roles require collaboration with others on site, this SSSTS Course identifies how working together with employers, employees and contractors to identify hazards and control risk, will minimise accidents and injuries across a construction site. This course highlights the supervisor’s roles to promote health, safety and welfare, and comply with UK Health & Safety Legislation.
Site Safety Plus SMSTS
The Site Safety Plus SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) course is aimed at those who hold management roles within construction, and provides a comprehensive overview of health and safety legislation and best practice. This course covers a range of topics including the Health and Safety at Work Act, CDM Regulations, and working safely on construction sites. It is designed to equip managers with the knowledge and skills they need to effectively manage health and safety on construction sites.
SSSTS and SMSTS Refresher Courses
We offer refresher courses for the SSSTS and SMSTS courses, the refreshers should be undertaken within 5 years of taking the initial full course. If your qualification lapses out of this timescale, then you will have to sit the full course again. Aside from the avoidance of additional cost, keeping the knowledge fresh in your mind is key to carrying out your duties.
