Who should attend the course?
This course is ideal for anyone involved in managing or influencing environmental performance on construction sites, including:
- Site Managers and Site Supervisors working on any size construction project
- Decision makers for duty holders in the construction industry, such as Clients, Designers, Principal Contractors and trade organisations
- Anyone responsible for ensuring environmental awareness within their supply chain
- Individuals with environmental responsibilities, from SHE advisors to Net Zero ambassadors
What will they get out of it?
Attendees will gain a solid understanding of environmental responsibilities on construction sites and how to manage them effectively. They will learn how to identify potential environmental risks, implement practical control measures, and work in line with relevant legislation and best practice.
The course equips delegates with the knowledge needed to improve environmental performance, reduce site impacts, and contribute to sustainable construction. On completion, they will also receive a recognised CITB SEATS certificate, demonstrating their competence in site environmental awareness.
Assessing Learning Outcomes
Delegates are assessed continually throughout the course to ensure they understand each module and can apply the knowledge in practice. This ongoing tutor assessment contributes to the final course mark and must be passed to successfully complete the training.
At the end of the course, delegates will sit a 30-minute exam, made up of multiple-choice questions and short written answers, designed to confirm their understanding of environmental responsibilities, legislation, and best practice on site.

From M25- exit at J12 (M3), follow M3 South until is splits into M27 East/ West and follow the M27 Westbound until Junction 3. Turn left at the roundabout and join the M271. At the end of the road, take the 1st exit on the roundabout to join the A33 Millbrook Road West. Move into the middle lane and continue over Redbridge Flyover. Once over, move into the inside lane. You will continue through a set of crossroads with traffic lights. After approx. 300 yards you will see a slip road for the Solent Business Centre, directly after the TA. Turn into this road, and carry along, past Sparshatts until you reach a blue building. The car park is through gates on your left at the side of the blue building.
